<para>The

function computes the intersection of two regions.</para>

<para>The
<emphasis remap='I'>&hairsp;XUnionRegion&hairsp;</emphasis>
function computes the union of two regions.</para>

<para>The
<emphasis remap='I'>&hairsp;XUnionRectWithRegion&hairsp;</emphasis>
function updates the destination region from a union of the specified rectangle
and the specified source region.</para>

<para>The
<emphasis remap='I'>&hairsp;XSubtractRegion&hairsp;</emphasis>
function subtracts srb from sra and stores the results in dr_return.</para>

<para>The
<emphasis remap='I'>&hairsp;XXorRegion&hairsp;</emphasis>
function calculates the difference between the union and intersection
of two regions.</para>

<para>The
<emphasis remap='I'>&hairsp;XOffsetRegion&hairsp;</emphasis>
function moves the specified region by a specified amount.</para>
